Phosphate-solubilizing bacteria to save on fertilisers

A bacterial isolate from the rock phosphate mine in Jhamarkotra, near Udaipur, solubilises phosphorus, potassium and zinc, secretes siderophores to immobilise heavy metals and thus improves plant growth.
